Collection: Kalash Collection

The people of Kalash live in the Hindukush Valley, which is in Chitral in the province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the North of Pakistan.

They are an ancient tribe, blonde hair and blue eyed, they are considered to be descendants of Alexander the Great, whom it is believed did get that far in the territories that he conquered.

There are estimated to be only 3000 Kalasha left, which is why a museum has been made which preserves their traditions and history.

The tribe dresses in what can be called traditional orthodox jewish style. They wear long black robes with vibrant coloured embroidery, this has been the inspiration behind this collection.

Each scent is a creative depiction of 4 of the different festivals celebrated in Chitral. If you'd be interested in travelling to Chitral to partake in one of these, you can contact us and we'd be happy to assist.
