This is the most important festival celebrated in the valleys of Chitral, it lasts for two weeks between 7th & 22nd December. It marks the end of the year's fieldwork & harvest. It involves music, dancing and the sacrafice of many goats. It is dedicated to the god of Balimain, who is believed to visit from the mythical homeland of the Kalash, Tysam for the duration of the feast.
The Candle comes packaged in a beautiful glass vessel enclosed in an embroidered white covering, which is removable, to bring to life the vibrant colours of the festival in your home. However please note that colours may vary and it will depend on what is available.
I use Paraffin because it gives a stronger scent throw. The candle is 29cl and has a burn time of around 30-35 hours.
The diffusers are 165ml and will last 6-9 months depending on where in the house you place it.
If you are buying for personal use you can save yourself £5 by buying it without the packaging.
All the candles in this collection are limited and when they are gone, they are gone.
